How much do you charge for officiating a wedding in Amsterdam?

A personalised ceremony in Amsterdam is €1,050. Outside of Amsterdam, there is an additional charge for travel, based on the distance.

Do you help with writing vows or selecting readings?

Absolutely! One of the best parts of my job is helping couples craft their vows and choose readings that truly speak to their relationship. I’ll guide you through the whole process and make sure everything is smooth, stress-free, and uniquely you. Let’s make your vows as unforgettable as your love story!

Can we include special rituals or traditions in our ceremony?

Yes, yes, and YES! I love including special rituals and traditions that reflect your culture, personality, or beliefs. Whether you want to exchange handfasting cords, share a wine ceremony, or have a unique family tradition, we can make it happen! Just let me know what you're envisioning, and we’ll work together to create something meaningful.

Do you perform weddings outside of Amsterdam?

Yes! While I’m based in Amsterdam, I’m happy to travel for weddings all over the Netherlands and even internationally. If you're getting married further afield, just let me know, and we can work out the details. While additional costs can include travel, and accommodation if needed, I do my best to keep this at a minimum amount for you.

Do we need to meet you before the ceremony?

I love meeting couples before the big day! But, if you're planning a destination wedding or simply can’t make it to Amsterdam before the ceremony, we can easily meet online. I’ll make sure we’re totally aligned and that your ceremony is exactly how you imagine it, even from a distance.

Can you perform a legally binding ceremony?

Yes, as a BABS (official Dutch wedding officiant), I can conduct a legally binding ceremony in the Netherlands. One important thing to note: I request at least 5 months' notice before the ceremony to ensure everything is in place. Once that’s all sorted, I’ll be there to make your ceremony unforgettable and fully official!

Do you also perform non-legally binding ceremonies?

Absolutely! My goal is to craft the ceremony you envision. Whether you're dreaming of a celebration that feels official or something totally unique, I’m all in. It's your day, your rules—I'm just here to help make it unforgettable! And if you’re looking for a non-legally binding wedding, no worries! Since there’s no notice required, I can be super flexible and even step in on short notice. Let’s make your love story shine, legal or not!
